Joe's Newest Book Proposal, "Everyone's Gone to the Moon" (09/24/2017)

Joe's latest book offering, "Everyone's Gone to the Moon" has landed on a publisher's desk and he's just waiting to hear back. The book will focus on the historic month of July 1969 one day at a time from July 1 to July 31. Not only will it follow the preparations for the historic first landing and eventual return to Earth of the three man crew of Apollo 11, but also dig deep into life here on Earth and the events and pop culture that ran parallel with the lunar landing and which had an equally important impact on who we were and are today.

Joe is currently on the trail researching his latest Falcon Guide, "Best Dog Hikes Alabama". Currently he is hiking possible trails for inclusion in the book with his rescue Labrador, Archer. The pair will hike 60-trails in all, revisiting many they have visited over the years and trying out new ones before the list is culled down to 40 of their favorites. As always the book will feature all of the essentials that Falcon Guides have become famous for and plenty of  information and tips on hiking with your dog and "Creature Comforts" that will list pet friendly hotels, campgrounds, restaurants, and more. "Best Dog Hikes Alabama" is due for release in early 2019.
